Now I’m here on a shelf, but it was a long journey to get here.
At first I was just a cocoa seed planted in Ivory Coast. Then, after I was picked, I was transferred to Belgium. Sounds more familiar, doesn’t it? People who sell me always stress I’m Belgian. Actually, I was only transformed into a chocolate bar there.
Once I was all ready to go, they made me travel again (I’m getting really global!). I was put in an Australian warehouse, and after that I was ordered through the internet by a fancy guy. His home was my final destination. What a journey, huh?
Now I’m here, sitting on his shelf. I hope I am as delicious as he expects me to be.
